The Teacher Learning Academy's Support Partners

Support Partners are organisations or individuals who endorse and support the TLA approach to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Support partners are organisations or individuals who have an advisory, supervisory, consultative or supportive role in respect to the teaching profession or, in some cases, provide their own CPD courses and services to teachers.

Here is a list of our current support partners

There are 3 types of support partner: Advocate, Compatible and Fully Aligned.

Advocate
These support partners are organisations or individuals that have an advisory, supervisory, consultative or supportive role in respect of the teaching profession and who want to endorse the TLA’s contribution to teachers’ professional development.

Compatible
These support partners are organisations or individuals who endorse the TLA process and by doing so add value and credibility to their own CPD provision.  Their courses or support would provide the basis for a TLA presentation.

Fully Aligned
These support partners provide professional development services to teachers. For example, they could be subject associations, Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), service providers, CPD providers or Local Authorities. Fully aligned partners demonstrate their understanding and support of the TLA’s aims. They also enhance their own CPD provision.
