TLA Verifier Training (Stages One and Two) requires participants to attend a one day course, having previously completed pre-course preparation activities.

The training is designed to help verifiers develop a good understanding of their role so they can recognise and fulfil their responsibilities and show they have a good level of knowledge and understanding of the TLA framework as well as the verification criteria for Stages One and Two. They will learn how to provide teachers with developmental feedback to build upon their achievements in future presentations.

Participants will demonstrate their skills and understanding of the process of verification and its associated protocols through verifying and moderating presentations, both on the day and subsequently. Their work will be independently quality assured and moderated to ensure that outcomes are consistent.

TLA Verifiers are expected to submit a presentation at an appropriate Stage within two school terms of applying to become a verifier and to support the development of the TLA in their schools or organisations.
